Pumpkin Book Reports (freebie!)

It's that time of year again, when fall is in the air, pumpkins are on every porch, and kids are contemplating what to be for Halloween!  My girls are going trick-or-treating as Miss Dee Meaner

and Groovy Hippy Chick.

I thought about being a police officer to arrest my little jailbird, but the adult police officer costumes are...inappropriate.  Really???

With all the fun, we like to work in our first book report of the year with Pumpkin Book Reports.  We ask students to read a book on their level and decorate (not carve) a small pumpkin to represent a character from the book.  They always turn out super-cute!  Recognize David?
I wanted to share the form and instructions I use to send home with my students.  It's a little easy, but this is the very first book report! Click on the links above to get your free copies!

Hugs,
